Verified Places
A directory that shows its sources — or says "not verified".
Sourced directory
What it is
A listing template built around provenance. Volatile facts — timings, fees, rules — can only be published together with a named source and the date they were checked, both rendered on the page. Anything unchecked displays an honest "not verified" notice with a link to the official source instead of a guess.
What the design gives you
- Sourced-fact component: value + source + checked-on date, enforced by the content schema
- Facts older than a year are flagged as possibly out of date automatically
- Draft entries are excluded from the build until actually completed
- Cross-directory linking with a build-time check that no reference points at a missing entry
Under the hood
- Typed content collections; publishing an unsourced volatile fact is a build error
- PlaceOfWorship / TouristDestination structured data per entry
- Zero JavaScript on entry pages
Good for
- Temple and travel directories
- Local listings
- Any niche where stale facts hurt readers
